Two year program

Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing

Labs open  First year students - (includes Sophomore, Junior or Seniors) : Flexible 150 minutes at RAMTEC at Tri-Rivers Career Center
Your Junior Year you may choose to take your academics at your home school or at Tri-Rivers.


Second Year (includes  Junior and Seniors) : Flexible 150 minutes at RAMTEC on the Tri-Rivers Career Center campus. Your senior year you may choose to take your academics at your home school or at Tri-Rivers.

Students will attend Lab three periods a day their junior year and senior years completing the Project Leads The Way Digital Electronics, Computer-Integrated-Manufacturing, and Engineering Design and Development courses as well as Industry credentialed FANUC, Motoman and Lincoln Industrial Robotics courses. 

The one, two and three year programs are for students considering careers as engineers and engineer technicians in electronics, manufacturing, and mechatronics for companies such as Honda of America, Emerson, NUCOR, Whirlpool, USY, Yataka, Midwest Robotics, RobotWorx and Midwest Robotics.

Many of the courses will earn college credit at Ohio colleges and universities. Students may opt to continue at a two-year college to become an engineering technician or at a four-year college to become an engineer.

There will be an emphasis on CAD Solids modeling, robotics, electronics, fabrication and basic maintenance concepts. Students will complete “Hands-On” AMTEC certified Amatrol industrial training modules in:

· Digital Electronics                                                                                            · Robotics
· DC and AC                                                                                                       · Pneumatics

Precision Measuring                                                                                         · Hydraulics Welding
·
Precision Machining                                                                                         · Blueprint Reading

Each student will be given a ASUS laptop and will have the opportunity to program industrial Robots. Students will have a Capstone Projects such as building a high performance vehicles and Robotic work cells.
